It’s all fun in games until you encounter what it means to be purposeful.

Let me explain…

Pain- I have carried bags filled with it all of my life. I have bruises that are still healing, a heart that is fragile, and a mind that fights to stay positive. My lungs are filled with anxiety, especially when things are going well. I’m anticipating pain because that is what kept me living. I drown in the now to keep myself from trusting in the future.

Unawareness- We never see the beauty in the struggles we maintain until we are sharing them with the world that is in need of healing. Our pain is the main ingredient added to the recipe needed to feed the world. Don’t keep your recipe a secret.

Relationships- Emotional rollercoasters that we take personal. Before the ride starts, we don’t buckle up so it’s easy to give up. When an unexpected drop comes, we get hurt and blame it on the person next to us. We get offended when someone hurts us not realizing that we just learned so much.

Peace- It slips right through my fingers when my alarm clock reminds me that it’s time to start worrying. I say I trust God but that’s “cap.” Because the fear of the unknown haunts me like He never had my back. He can’t give me peace if trust is something I lack.

Obedience- You want God to bless you but you haven’t stopped doing a damn thing He told you to stop doing…
